Family Vacation

Having a family vacation is essential and therapeutic for the family. There is something about getting away from the normal that can reset you and fuel you. I have a close friend that takes a family vacation every year during the holidays and travels to a different location around the world. They have seen so many countries and have great memories from those trips. Now many people may not be able to go out the country, but can stay more local. Many years ago, we wanted a vacation, but could not afford much. We rented a small beach house and took the kids to beach and made sandwiches. That is all we could afford at the time. Now we could take our kids anywhere in the world, but we choose to make that location a family tradition. We stay at that same beach house and take sandwiches to the beach, 8 years and counting. It is a great reminder that you can have a great time with not a lot of money. It is all about spending time together and creating beautiful memories.
